British Composer Jonathan Goldstein, wife and baby killed in Swiss plane crash

An award-winning composer and producer, his wife and their young baby were killed in a small plane crash in the Swiss Alps on Sunday. The three were in route to Italy from Switzerland when the plane hit the ground and burst into flames killing all three of them.

Jonathan had worked with Martin Scorsese on his film Cape Fear and won an Ivor Novello Award in 2007 for his score to the BBC/HBO film Primo. Hanna Goldstein (who performed under the name Hanna Marcinowicz) with the London Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonic Orchestra and was a regular performer with BBC Proms.
